THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY! DON'T GO!! We brought our dog in who was already on medication for fluid in his left lung and was having trouble breathing in the middle of the night. Our regular vet is not open 24 hours so we took him to AVAH. They took an x-ray which showed the same fluid that our regular vet saw. They recommended keeping him over night in an oxygen cage and they would perform a bronchoscopy in the morning to determine the bacteria/fungus in his lung for treatment. That didn't happen. His x-ray was sent to radiology for review which was an additional cost that was not discussed or agreed to before hand. We were then told they highly recommended doing an echocardiogram to determine if his heart was strong enough to perform the bronchoscopy even though the internist didn't hear any heart murmur and didn't feel his heart was failing. They also recommended an Ultrasound, CT scan, and fluid extraction by placing a needle into his lung. We already paid $1300 for the initi
