If you ever need care for your animal please do whatever you can to AVOID Arboretum View Animal Hospital in Downers Grove. I had taken Emmy there November 2007 where she was diagnosed with Pyometra, and she needed to be operated on immediatley. Since then I have had nothing multiple problems with the surgery wound it had an awful odor, the wound would bust open constantly, and puss would drain each time it opened. Every time I called they told me to go see my regular vet. I thought they would have at least asked me come back for a follow-up visit after the surgery to see that everything was ok with her and their work, but after the surgery was over they took our $2,326.35 and washed their hands of us (which I found out later was a rediculously high cost for that surgery). I took Emmy to the vet today because she had lump the size of an egg sticking out of her stomach along the stitch line filled with puss and it busted open and poured out all over the floor I went into our regular
