Review content:
I took my car in for diagnostic testing when my check engine light came on. I was informed my car needed $4000 in repairs. They said both catalytic converters needed to be replaced and my car wasn't safe to drive. I went elsewhere for a second opinion and ended up paying $250 for repairs (and that included the emissions test). My car needed NONE of the things Midtown Tire told me it needed and to top it off they charged me $150 for that misdiagnosis. I went back to request a refund, which they gave me, but they were arrogant and condescending about it. I was told my car might be running right now, but they doubted it had been properly repaired and I would be back. I wouldn't go back to Midtown Tire for a bandaid if I was bleeding to death. CROOKS.
