My wife and I had an expired contract with T-Mobile and were investigating all options. There were a couple of sprint phones we were interested in but not sure about - they recommended a 30 trial of the phones. They said that basically we would only pay for the minutes that we used and the prorated portion of the contract. I verified that, since we were paying $130 a month with unlimited minutes, that it would basically be $10.83 a day plus whatever tax might be involved. We had the phones for two days, and our bill was $121. I basically haggled that down to $87 over the phone, then in the process of going back and forth with them aquired a late fee, bringing it to $93. At that point I just caved in and paid. Needless to say, we're back with T-Mobile.
