Review content:
I've visited Aveda several times since moving to the area. I like the atmosphere and the experience that focuses more on the technical aspects of hair care. You can actually learn something! The instructors are always present for consultation and to assist if needed and the students are excited about their work. I've gotten some good advice and feel comfortable trying new things that they suggest. Be prepared to spend a LONG time for an appointment. If you go in with this knowledge, you will be fine. If not, you will be annoyed. Keep in mind that it is a training facility and there are tradeoffs. The prices are great but the primary reason for the institute is to teach students. I have found that they are willing to spend as much time and provide as much help as possible to the less skillful students to make the outcome a positive one. Thanks Aveda!
