I requested an oil change ($24) and possible brake job. Was told to bring in the car & would both be done in 1.5 hours. About 30 minutes after I dropped off my car, I got a call from the guy behind the front desk saying my brakes needed a complete re-working and the cost would be approximately $600 for my 2002 Honda. I said no way, I'll wait, and he tried over and over to convince me to get it done. I said no. Too expensive. Approximately 5 minutes later, the same guy called me back and said he hHmmmm. Why didn't he check with both vendors right away and offer me the best price?? He tried to offer making payments with free interest on their credit card, and many other incentives to get the work. I said definitely not. Scam! Well, then he said it was going to be another 45 minutes for my oil change. 1.5 hours for total brake job plus an oil change?? Now, 45 minutes more for simple oil change?
