I'd driven by this place for a year but when I read that it got the Austin Chronicle's Critics Choice for sandwiches, I gave it a try and understood their praise. Food Heads does have the best sandwiches I've in Austin. The funky, casual house is the perfect atmosphere for the food. I got one of their specials: grilled pork tenderloin with avocado, chiptole ""slaw,"" and a fried egg. Weird and declious (they also have more standard sandwiches, too).
Pros: interesting sandwiche, tasty
