Brand new restaurant to Eat24, people on Yelp raved about the food so ... We ordered over $50 (not including generous pre-paid tip) in food from this restaurant that is only 1.2 miles away. After an hour, I contacted Eat24 to check on the status --- they said it was on the way. ONE HOUR AND 25 MINUTES later, our food arrived with no apology. For burgers and pizza coming from, let me repeat --- 1.2 miles away --- that is ridiculous.
The burgers were tasty (but for $14 a piece, they should be) and the wood-fired pizza that everyone raved about? Meh. But I think maybe they only started our order after Eat24 called to check on the status, so that might have had something to do with it.
