I am not one to often change my mind --- and you can see how unhappy I was with this place in my last review ... BUT through a happy accident, we ordered from this place a second time and WOW --- totally different experience. This time delivery took less time than promised. I asked for extra sauces and was given more than expected for free, the delivery guy was friendly and thanked me for my detailed note requests (all of which were followed to the letter) and the food, while still pricey, was worth every penny. The mac & cheese with pulled shortrib may be one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten. I will definitely give Garden Cafe a third chance and hope that my originally bad experience was truly just a fluke. more

Brand new restaurant to Eat24, people on Yelp raved about the food so ... We ordered over $50 (not including generous pre-paid tip) in food from this restaurant that is only 1.2 miles away. After an hour, I contacted Eat24 to check on the status --- they said it was on the way. ONE HOUR AND 25 MINUTES later, our food arrived with no apology. For burgers and pizza coming from, let me repeat --- 1.2 miles away --- that is ridiculous. The burgers were tasty (but for $14 a piece, they should be) and the wood-fired pizza that everyone raved about? Meh. But I think maybe they only started our order after Eat24 called to check on the status, so that might have had something to do with it. more
