Review content:
The experience with Abbey Carpet & Floor was fine, nothing outstanding. I'm currently very annoyed with them because the fellow they recommended to install the carpet used his own glue. I had already spent $15 on a glue they had told me needed to be used on this linoleum.
I took the glue back but they told me that the guy was not part of their company. They said they would keep the can there and see if the salesman would take it back next time he came around but they have yet to call me back. I bought it there, I paid for it there, so I can't understand why they wouldn't give me my money back. They had one very nice employee, Carol. She was very pleasant. But aside from that, it was just a very annoying business transaction. As far as I'm concerned, they owe me $15.
RESPONSE FROM Abbey Carpet & Floor:
Jean,
I apoligize that you had an annoying transaction. This incident was never brought to my attention. I have reviewed it and found that the glue was a special order so that you would have all the material to get the job completed to your satisfaction. The installer you used chose not to use this material. Normally we do not take back any special orders, but I would be happy to refund your $15 in order to satisfy your concern. I apologize for the inconvenience and hope that you will use us in future flooring projects.
Sincerely,
Jeff Jacobson
