Review content:
I have been seeing the CRNP at Allegheny Dermatology Associates for a few months, every month or so, to have a keloid injected. The doctors, PA and the CRNP are good at what they do. They are professional and knowledgeable. They're the reason I keep going back, along with location. Monroevile is easier to get to than Oakland and parking is readily available. HOWEVER, it can be nearly impossible to get an appointment in a timely manner. I've had appointments canceled with only a day or two notice. That's been a real problem. Also, the reception staff is not the most polite or friendly desk staff I've ever dealt with. They tend to be abrupt, probably because they're busy, and not accommodating at all in making appointments. I continue to go back because I believe the doctors and practitioners are good at dermatology and have done their best to help me, but I will reconsider where I go if they cancel any more of my appointments. The office is located in an office building with other businesses, and usually when I go in there is a group of smokers outside the front door. Cigarette smoke gives me hives and I inevitably walk through a thick cloud of it to get inside. Guess it's good I'm going into a dermatologists office! I wish they would move the smokers.
Pros: Doctors are professional and knowledgable, good location, lots of parking
Cons: Staff can be terse, have had appointment canceled by the office, can be hard to get an appointment
