UNPROFESSIONAL & YOUR HEALTH IS NOT THIER CONCERN! I am a patient of Potomac Square that suffers from a severe medical condition, depression. After going to my office visit for medication refills the pharmacy sent a prior auth to the clinic. I called several times over a weeks period to see if they had responded to the pharmacy and with no response back from the clinic I finally went down to the clinic for answers. At that time I saw that the front desk receptionist still had my message on her desk from 5 days earlier and in that message I had stated that this was becoming an emergency, only to see that my health was not her priority while she giggled with the girl sitting next to her. I had by that time ran out of my medication and fell into a deep depression that the clinic could have cared less about. After briefely talking to me for about 2 minutes about how thay had forgotten to fax the prior auth back to the pharmacy they then shoved me right back out the door looking at me like I had wasted a moment of thier time! I would expect a medical facility and thier staff understand the severity of abdruptly stopping an anti depressant. I should have known that I would not be under good medical care when I went to my original office visit a couple weeks before and was put into a room with a used dirty bloody needle sitting on the chair next to me!! Oh yes I have pictures of that! No one had obviously cleaned that room and even after putting me into the room they did not discard the used needle! I had to bring it to the attention of the back office lead Ashley in order for it to be picked up, she acted like it was nothing so maybe this a regular occurance at this facility! What a filthy place!!
