We recently moved to the Norman area. We have 4 dogs and was trying to locate a vet for our babies. A lady I work with highly recommended Thunderbird Veterinary Hospital. My Miniaturen Schnauzer developed a sore on his side that was getting infected. I took him to Thunderbird Vet and the girl at the front desk informed me that they didn't have any openings but could see me the next day. I quickly explained to her that he can't wait until tomorrow due to an infection. She again told me that they were completely booked that day. I was very surprised especially since the waiting room was totally empty. I immediately left and took him to another vet and he definitely had an infection. I was very disappointed! If she had of offered working me in, I would not have minded waiting at al but that was never an option.
