As a St. Pete resident I have always driven past Bad to the Bone, but until this year had no need for their services. After purchasing a Ford Expedition this spring, I called them in order to get a quote on various head units and other electronics options for my truck. I spoke with an employee who promised to conduct some research and get back to me with prices. They never did. I ended up purchasing my unit from another company (A $1,800 purchase with install) and was amazed that Bad to the bone never took the time to try and earn my business. Last month I again called them inquiring into a quote for the purchase and install of a high end Grille guard for my truck. Again, the employee promised to call me back with a quote, and again, I never heard back from them. I can't imagine that the owner knows his employees are blowing off customers like this, but at this point I don't care. I will not be offering any further business to Bad to the Bone as they obviously have no motivation to make sales. Instead I'll offer my business to other local businesses who care about building relationships and making sales. A sad case in today's economy....
