We had them out to provide us a design and quote on a patio in our back and then relandscape and sod front. We were very clear during the process we wanted color in the front and wanted to save existing shurbs to plant elsewhere and that one of our #1 priorities was to hide a well cover in the front yard. Budget for this work was around $30k, so no small job.\r \r After finalizing the design, everything started ok. But as soon as things started to really go in, it was clear he had changed the design without running it by us. We had a chat and realigned things, but this continued. He trashed all of the existing shrubs we wanted to relocate (approximately $1,000 worth) and gave some lame ""no serious design would include those"" reply - they were standard boxwoods. Give me a break. The well cover was still there and easy to see. And in the front of the house, was NO color. Heck - it looked like it did before, just with different evergreens.\r \r In reviewing a water feature, which we never asked for but he was insisted on having (it did look good and we love it to his credit there), he simply buried an extension cord that ran to an outlet on the deck. NOT to code (confirmed this) - his reply, that he never had problems before and I was making a big deal out of it. \r \r In the end, we do have a nice patio and water feature, so he does a great job there. But we had to have him pullout some of the plants in the front and change to accommodate our goals and I have to have the water feature electrical finished...oh, and he destroyed my drip irrigation. Said he could give me the name of someone to fix. Newsflash - don't destroy it and I don't have to pay to have it fixed. And he completely put on us to find a fake rock to cover the well.\r \r Overall, the entire process was painful, aggravating, and a nightmare regardless of how good parts of it looked. My advice, stay AWAY from this company. Unless you have no opinions and don't care about what he does. Pros: Hardscape, water features, rock gardens Cons: Doesn't listen/document your goals, passive agressive, electrical not to code, will destroy anything in the way of HIS design
