Dr. Sunshine - yes that's his real name - was very pleasant. The problem was that he was more interested in trying to get me to use home remedies or other over the counter items when I really needed antibiotics. I had an extreme infection in both ears, which I mentioned and his assistant checked, but he decided it wasn't that bad and I should use a nasal rinse and take some sudafed. Who knows what that has to do with my ears. Well, that didn't make a dent in my problem, as I am susceptible to sinust infections and decided to see a doctor before it got worse. Dr. Sunshine asked me if I smoked and then asked if I had Asthma. I told him I don't smoke and I don't have asthma. He said that only people that have issues such as mine are people who smoke or have asthma. I was floored he would insinuate I was lying. Had I been in better health I would have spoken up, but I just let it go. I went to the store (3 actually before I could find the nasal rinse he wanted me to purchase) spent a bunch of money, and purchased the myriad of items he recommended in hopes that he was right.\r

Well, he wasn't. In fact my ear infection was so bad the next day that I couldn't even take myself to the doctor. I was in horrible pain and disoriented. The doctor I went to see was Dr. Sims of South County Family Medical - not to be confused with South Coast Medical Group. Dr Sims was fantastic. I highly recommend that facility.
Pros: Office Staff
Cons: Misdiagnosis, run-around
