I only order glasses/contacts from this place, so I know nothing of the doctor or what checkups are like, but the desk people are infuriatingly slow. Every time I call I'm put on hold, and picking out glasses is a nightmare. You have to stand behind a glass desk while someone chooses glasses for you, because god forbid you take your time and choose your own glasses with your own hands. As a result, my first visit--which should have lasted maybe 15 minutes (it was, after all, not an exam, but just to order and choose a pair of glasses)--wound up spending an hour and a half of my time. Plus, they tend to be chatterboxes. I didn't want to hear anything about their high school experience, etc. I wanted to get out of there. Cons: Slow service, difficult way to pick glasses
