I volunteerd at their animal shelter and my daughter worked there as a vet tech. We are both animal lovers. We have 4 dogs and 4 cats. At one point, we only had the chihuahuas, as we got the cats (because while working & volunteering there we fell in love with cats as well) one of our cats clawed one of my chihuahuas eye, we took him to VCA, where else since we were working & volunteering there, the vet said that my chihuahua would have to have his eye REMOVED, and asap as the bacteria was coursing through his body so this surgury would have to be done soon, oh, at around $1500,not including antiobiotics and 1 minute exam, but then they recommended another vet (they probably get a cut), as an emergency since VCA souldn't do it til 3 more days, that other vet would cost $3000... needless to say I took my beloved chihuahua to my trusted vet in Summit and he examined him, recommeded drops and antiobiotics, told me to bring him back in 2 days, we continued treatment and my chihuahua i
