Review content:
Recently, a very nice family (approved to adopt) changed their minds and won't be adopting BECAUSE DR. BURLEIGH ADVISED AGAINST IT. When called about this, Dr. Burleigh said shelter dogs are damaged, have medical problems, and are aggressive. And numerous breeds should never be adopted out including the Swiss Mountain Dog puppy his clients want to adopt. Dr. Burleigh made defamatory remarks against all rescues and shelters. So shelter dogs who have lost their homes because of the economy are ""damaged"" and don't deserve to find new homes? Puppies? Dogs orphaned when their owners die? Damaged and undeserving of homes? Do his clients know how he feels about their adopted dogs? His generalizations have robbed a shelter dog of a home.
