They were patient with my indecisiveness and really worked with our family to create a kitchen/great room that matched our needs and the existing structure of our home, including adding a beam to our open-beamed ceiling. Every portion of the job was completed as promised. My kitchen is incredible and I could not have asked for more. I knew not just the owners were concerned about my happiness but also their team of employees, whom I trusted to leave in my home. Each evening (even though I told them they didn't always have to) they cleaned and packed up all of their things. Not once was there a nail or tool left out. This was appreciated esp. with kids and animals still living in the home during construction.
Our friends and family were so impressed with their work at our home that they have used them for a variety of projects. My in-laws still talk about the transformation of our great room and have used Vaughn & Sons for their own construction projects. And, when we had remove the entire floor in a bathroom and half of a bedroom because of water damage caused by renters as well as many other repairs in a rental house left in total disarray, we called John. We were so comfortable with their competence, we went ahead with construction even though we were out of the country.
In my opinion, it is rare to find a construction company with such integrity among the owners and employees. They are also very charitable and, who doesn't appreciate that?
