Review content:
I used movers to relocate from Alexandria Va to Portland Oregon. I also used movers to take me from SW Portland to Eastmoreland. I recently used Priestley & Sons to make a small move in Beaverton.
I was very impressed with this Company. From the moment I made the phone call, I felt I was in good hands. I went into details about my dinning room table. This piece of furniture always makes me nervous in a move. It is solid glass, the top weights over 350 pds and I paid over 5 thousand for this table. In this move, the table would need to go down a flight of stairs and then up another flight at the new location.
I requested two men and a truck. The woman at Priestley, refused to book the move unless I paid for three men and a truck. She explained, they didn't want to risk damaging my table. Although, I did not want to pay for three men, I felt safer with three men.
When the truck arrived with three men, I started to explain what ""my"" game plan was. In a very respectful and re-assuring voice, I was told to allow them to do what they are trained to do. I did tell the men, the amount of time (money) I was allowing them.
The front door was wrapped in mats, the men went to work and in record time, I was moved. They worked to my time frame. There were no add on fees. No damage occurred. Extremely professional.
I will use them again if I ever move again, hopefully no time soon.
