Review content:
I brought my Tag Heuer watch to Old Northeast Jewelers in Decenber to have a link replaced on my band. SIX weeks later, I received an estimate of about 6 suggested repairs. I decided to let them perform 3. WHAT A MISTAKE! I was called to pick it up SIX weeks later, and it did not run (had NEVER had a problem with it in the 8 years that I owned it!) They replaced the battery, and I left. The next day, it had stopped. Took it back, and they stated that I needed a new movement. They replaced the movement, and 2 weeks later, I went to pick it up. They time and date was not set, so their representative (Julie) opened the crown, set, it, and supposedly closed the crown. Within a week, the watch had leaked while I was in the shower (wore it in the shower for 8 years ... NEVER leaked!) Took it back, and they said, ""You shouldn't wear this in the shower"" and said that it had pressure tested fine. I stated that I had worn it in the shower every day for 8 years and NEVER had a problem. So, they sent it to the Tag Heuer factory. Tag Heuer stated that the crown was open and that was why it leaked and now want me to fork over $200 for repairs!!! \r \r This nightmare started in DECEMBER 2012. It is now MAY 15th, and the watch is at Tag Heuer.\r \r DO NOT TAKE YOUR WATCH TO THIS PLACE!!!!!! You will be SORRY!!! I can not even express in words how much I hate this place!!!!!!!!!!\r
