I've been going to Dr. Casano's office for many years in the group and she is very thoughtful and attentive in her care. Yes she is not available on a moment notice as not many doctors are, and i've been seen by a wonderful Physicians Asst (Tony) in her place. I just saw him today with a nasty cough & viral respitory infection and he knew exactly how to treat it and what to prescribe and my symptoms are almost gone. I dont really mind seeing a PA for such trivial things as seasonal flu and colds and dont want to bother the doc unless its for something more serious. It is a bit of a factory but with the costs of healthcare being what they are i can understand the need to see as many patients as they can.
Pros: Can be treated on short notice
