Businiess name:  Harry's Auto Collision Center

Review content:
This is a long review, but if I can save someone else frustration, then I did my job. This place is the worst auto body shop I have ever been to! I recently moved into the neighborhood and thought I would give them a try. What a BIG mistake! I was told the repair would take 4 days it is now 16 days later and the work is still not completed. And as a matter of fact, Harry's is refusing to finish the work. I will say there appears to have been a miscommunication, a lack of proper estimates sent to my insurance detailing all the necessary work, and an argument between my insurance agent and Rick, the General Manager from Harry's, but I am suffering the consequences of Harry's complete lack of professionalism. I responded to Rick's and my agents crazy bantering back and forth by trying to calm the situation and just move on. Below is a copy of my email to the GM Rick and my agent. Keep in mind my agent had approved the final repairs before this email was sent to the GM of Harry's: ""Bottom line my dissatisfaction is the lack of communication by Harry's Auto and nothing more. It now appears the problem seems to be between my insurance and Harry's and I am stuck in the middle as all of the approvals/etc are done between you two and are out of my control. I don't need multiple emails back and forth. I just need the problem resolved. Rick, like I stated in my previous email, please call me once the parts have been received by Harry's (it appears it has been approved already) and at that time you can attach them and remove the ink stain on the leather seat as well and we can then be done. How long does it usually take to receive the moldings?"" This was my response from the GM Rick: ""It is quite evident that you still have no conception of the fact that we only do what is written on the estimate by YOUR insurance company, which is exactly what we did. Good look in your future endeavors. Also, you are absolutely right, this is out of control and a giant waste of my time so please do not continue to e-mail as the will go un-answered. Please find another facility."" I asked to speak to the owner of the shop and Rick refused to let me speak to him or meet with him at the shop. He stated ""No one speaks to Harry, he doesn't not speak to the customers. I am the only person you can speak to."" If I were Harry, I would re-evaluate having Rick as your GM and be more involved in your day-to-day operations. Lastly, they returned my car with black ink on the beige leather seat and Rick couldn't care less. No apologies were given. Rick seems to think because Harry's gave me $50 off my deductible and after 7 days of paying for a rental car out of my pocket they decided to give me a loaner car that I should be a happy customer. Bottom line is there is a complete lack of professionalism and big egos here. Rick believes because (his quote again:) ""We are a 38 year company and do the majority of our business on extremely high end automobiles"" that I should be okay with the treatment because apparently my Audi A4 is a piece of sh*t to him and isn't an Aston Martin. Bottom line: Unless you like someone treating condescendingly then STAY FAR, FAR AWAY!!!!!!!!!
