Review content:
I enrolled my daughter at OakTree in September 2009. Sensing that my daughter might benefit from a little more structure than was offered at the rec center preschool program she attended before OakTree, I visited a few schools in the area and found OakTree to have the most open, friendly and welcoming envoronment. The teachers are very consistent and thorough with showing preschoolers how to make use of their new-found independence (directing their energy into positive outlets while maintaining respectful rules) rather than making each child 'conform' to the program. With a very strong-willed child, this approach is working wonders for my daughter-- requiring respectful behavior within the group, while allowing room for her to choose her own path. And, of course, there is plenty of outdoor play and creativity along with learning. We are very happy with this school; and, perhaps most importantly, our daughter loves going to school.
