Please, please do not go here. Lydia does not abide by the law and is completely unprofessional.
I had paid for two deals on LifeBooker. The certificates had expired, but I decided to use the cash value and pay the difference for the $200+ service. I arrived at her house (her place if business), and she informed me that she was would only value the cash value on one of the gift certificates but not the other. We called Lifebooker together and the Lifebooker informed her that she had to redeem the original cash value of both certificates because it was a California law. SHE REFUSED TO DO SO. I could not believe it. She then refused to let Lifebooker refund me.
THIS WAS THE MOST HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE! She was unprofessional and treated me unkindly. I just purchased a deal online (that she made the decision to move forward with) and followed instructions from the Lifebooker employees. She tried to lecture me on what it was to be a business owner, but I find it odd that as a business owner she doesnt understand what is legal and illegal, or understand what customer service is. Please do not go here. There are several other places in the city (Lashfully, etc.) that are professional and conduct their businesses properly. Only go here if you are looking to be treated with disrespect and waste your time.
