Please, please do not go here. Lydia does not abide by the law and is completely unprofessional. I had paid for two deals on LifeBooker. The certificates had expired, but I decided to use the cash value and pay the difference for the $200+ service. I arrived at her house (her place if business), and she informed me that she was would only value the cash value on one of the gift certificates but not the other. We called Lifebooker together and the Lifebooker informed her that she had to redeem the original cash value of both certificates because it was a California law. SHE REFUSED TO DO SO. I could not believe it. She then refused to let Lifebooker refund me. THIS WAS THE MOST HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE! She was unprofessional and treated me unkindly. I just purchased a deal online (that she made the decision to move forward with) and followed instructions from the Lifebooker employees. She tried to lecture me on what it was to be a business owner, but I find it odd that as a business owner she doesnt understand what is legal and illegal, or understand what customer service is. Please do not go here. There are several other places in the city (Lashfully, etc.) that are professional and conduct their businesses properly. Only go here if you are looking to be treated with disrespect and waste your time. more

Makeup Artistry By Ms. Lydia is a lovely place. I enjoy going there because Ms. Lydia really listens to what you want. She's not intimidating either. Talking to her is like talking to you sister or best friend. She's really great. She's also affordable and honest. She really knows her stuff too, so I always feel confident in her hands. I feel beautiful whenever I leave Ms. Lydia. I highly recommend her services. more

I originally had my lashes done in Florida, so when I came back I was looking for a place to go. I found Makeup Artistry by Ms. Lydia, and I was very pleased. I needed a follow up, but Ms. Lydia couldn't fit me in right away, so I tried someone else. It was terrible. I ran back to Ms. Lydia, and she was able to fix me up. I have been using her for about 8 months, and that is where I am staying. She is the top. more

I have friends with extensions but their experience was not as wonderful as mine. Ms L salon in SF is so beautiful. It's in this great victorian with her personal makeup line. She put a full set of lashes on me and then airbrushed my makeup and gave me a whole new way to bring out my eyes. I can see how she has worked on celebrities. Her patience and spirit is so calming. If you want an experience along with looking fabulous, I would not hesitate to call her. I purchased a certificate for my cousin and know that she will bring out the swan in her too. Ms. Lydia is the only one where I can fall asleep while she does my lashes, I am that relaxed. Before I used her, everyday I had to drag myself up out of bed to put on lashes. Now I feel 1,000% better. She puts lashes on, and they last 2 whole weeks. I don't have to do a thing. I have been using Makeup Artistry By Ms. Lydia for about a year. She does really good work.
