Recently I had my first, and a very unpleasant, business with D & L Auto. I found the guy's attitude arrogant and the job sloppy. \r \r I had a front axle, boot, and the transmission replaced there. Right after the work I found out, when cold, the engine would shake like someone was choking it. I had to go back twice for this. Eventually the guy told me the motor mount was wrong and that caused the vibration when engine was cold. He did rework and the phenomenon improved but not completely gone.\r \r Then I heard the car making a noise that was going faster and slower according to the driving speed. I called the shop and he yelled at me. \r \r Along the entire deal the guy did not call me for diagnose, quotation, or progresses. I took my car there for the boot and axle problem first. His employee told me I might have a slipping transmission. So I requested the shop to check the transmission. Then nothing was done on the busted boot and when I called he told me his transmission guy was going on vacation for two weeks. So I drove my car in rain and snow for two weeks with an open boot.\r \r I guess I was stupid enough not to go to another shop when being told ""the customer came second"". However, I really hated his attitude.\r \r If you go there, I wish you a better experience than mine.\r Cons: Sloppy job. Poor attitude.
