Businiess name:  La Amistad Behavioral Health Services

Review content:
My son was admitted to La Amistad for drug rehab and anger issues. He left La Amistad with 7 different prescriptions for psychotic drugs, anti-depressants, Seroquel, anti-seizure meds and God only knows what else. He has had severe ADHD his whole life and this problem was not even addressed. \r \r When the therapist who recommended La Amistad to us saw the medications my son had been prescribed, he was shocked and disappointed and apologized to us. He stated that he could not understand why they ignored my son's severe ADHD.\r \r I totally agree with Brenda W. below that the advertisement on the web site creates expectations that are not even close to reality. We too initially had very high hopes for our son's recovery and have to start all over trying to find help for him. It is very demoralizing for us.\r \r Fortunately we had insurance, but wasted it on La Amistad. I would not send my dog there for therapy.
