Review content:
The Abbey Store is a lovely store in a beautiful setting. It's only about 20 miles from downtown Atlanta but you'd think you'd gone to another world. Located on the grounds of a large Trappist monastery, the ambience is peaceful and prayerful. The store itself features just about every kind of Catholic product you could imagine: Bibles, books, holy cards, statues, medals, icons, votive candles, crosses and crucifixes, rosaries, and more. A nice food section features many products made at monasteries including fudge and fruitcake made by the Trappists of Georgia. The staff consists of both monks and laypersons, and are very knowledgeable and service-oriented.
Pros: Good Catholic product selection, friendly and knowledgeable staff
Cons: Remote location (but it's a beautiful setting and worth the drive!)
