I have been going to the Aveda Institute for four years. I have short hair and get my hair cut every six weeks. i have had only one questionable hair cut in all of those I have had over the years.
The students are very nice, listen well and are very confident. I feel certain that if they can handle my short, curly, thick hair, they can handle most any hair cut!
In addition to the low prices I also like that you don't tip the students. You can tip for a cause to many great charities or choose not to tip at all.
The only downfall I find is a haircut, without being styled, usually takes my stylist at least an hour.
I have recommended this place to many friends and I will continue to do so!
Pros: cost, location, no tips
