Review content:
When my parents could no longer cook for themselves or take good care of their home, we drove around looking for a place they could live and still enjoy the lifestyle to which they were accustomed. When we toured The Gardens at Barry Road, my parents knew they'd found their new home. People really cared about them and wanted them to be happy. They provided them with wonderful meals in a beautiful dining room, including linen tablecloths and napkins and real table service. The facility is immaculate, the grounds manicured and well cared for, with habitat for all kinds of birds as well as places to sit and enjoy watching them. My father's health declined to the point we had to put him in a nursing home but my mother continued there until she died. Now they have a new magnificent Alzheimer's/Memory unit where if one member of a couple needs to be there, the other can simply take a walk to visit them. I love that idea. Thank you to the staff at The Gardens for taking such good care of my parents while they lived there. I love you all for that.
