Review content:
Our son has been taking swim lessons at Waterworks since he was about 18 months old with the intent of getting him water safe. We started out with the parent and me classes and have now moved on to semi-private lessons. I was impressed from day one by the individual attention each child received during the parent and me classes while allowing the parent to be very involved in teaching their child. Once my son had gotten to a level of swimming that was above the parent and me classes we moved to the semi-private level and his ability to swim drastically improved very quickly. There is something to be said for the smaller teacher/student ratio. After a little less than a year of lessons my 2 year old is able to climb out of the pool unassisted, float on his back and swim for about 10 feet with little to no help and is now learning some strokes. I also was impressed that Waterworks not only taught children to swim but they also offer classes for all ages and skill levels including the handicapped. We love that classes can be year round and indoors so my son will be able to use the skills he has learned. The front desk staff has always been friendly and willing to help with questions or scheduling of lessons. We have had lessons with 3 different instructors and each of them were kind, gentle yet firm when it came to teaching safety....all qualities a parent wants when it comes to teaching their child to be safe. \r
