I am writing this review to highly recommend N.E.A. Construction. I’m in the process of renovating my Manhattan condo and required a capable contractor. I found N.E.A. Construction through a referral. I am a financier the real estate industry, so I work with contractors every day and know how few decent contractors there are. N.E.A. Construction is not just decent, THEY ARE AWESOME! \r

I work very long days and really needed a firm that could understand my ideas for the place without long meetings or requiring me to shop to pick stuff out. I have been through a renovation before and it was a nightmare. These guys show me some sketches and boards and samples and its like they read my mind. The staff is friendly and considerate, two more things which are rare in New York City. Some of the workers seem capable enough to run their own companies and I wonder what the owner is doing to keep them onboard. The owner, Manny, is an architect and is a full of awesome ideas and I keep telling him that he needs a show on HGTV. The work is top notch and Manny has given me ideas that I never thought of, and I really appreciate the knowledge. We added radiant heat to the whole place and towel warmers in the bathrooms, and we are using color combinations that I would have never tried on my own. My budget is approximately 1 million and the kitchen and master bedroom are really important to me, and I feel totally comfortable letting N.E.A. handle the interior design. They are even tweaking my architect’s design. Its like they are doing that last little bit of refining that my architect never achieved. I used another architect to make me drawings before I found N.E.A. A few months into the project and I’m wishing they had done the initial design. \r

I cannot say enough good stuff about this company. Every part of this process so far has been a pleasure. Manny looks like he found the right formula and every just seems to magically fall into place.\r
