Businiess name:  Osterman Propane

Review content:
Osterman Propane provides fuel to our small condo assn. for seniors. Each home is metered re: usage, and on a regular basis a ""meter reader"" comes by to record the numbers. Our new contract provided a comparable rate to other fuel providers.\r \r What was not pointed out at the contract review was the additional $10 ""reading charge"". So, for our association of 30 units that would be $300.00 for the half hour it might take to record 30 numbers.\r \r That's a VERY nice additional monthly profit for Osterman at EVERY reading. It's been explained that this is a ""service charge"". There is no reasonable service provided. Calls to eliminate the charge, or offer any adjustment have met with ""it's in the contract"", and ""nothing can be done"".\r \r So, consumers, especially seniors, search out OTHER fuel providers and peruse their contract before signing ! Ask questions, and go somewhere else for your heating fuel !
