My furnace stopped working, I had seen the cute ads on tv for Neerings, so I called them. Technician seemed nice and professional, told me the smart valve was out on my furnace and would be 1389.00 to replace. He asked me for my owners manual to the furnace saying it would help him diagnose the problem. I went upstairs to look for it, stupid on my part. Came back down without it, he said its ok it is the smart valve, I can replace it tomorrow. When he left I called and got a 2nd opinion. The other company verified it was the smart valve and I could replace it for 200 dollars. When he came to replace it the next day he said the technician from Neerings and undone the wiring to the control panel, so when the new part was put in it wouldn't work and would need to be replaced. This honest technician fixed that all for no charge. Stay away from Neerings at all costs. they also charge 91 dollars to tell you what is wrong, this should be free as well. They seem highly unethical to me, 1389.oo compared to 200. big difference. I am glad I didn't fall for their garbage.
