We just bought a new house and have very little furniture so we went to Hom and purchased a dining room table. We knew that furniture can take some time to be shipped in if it isn't in stock so we were shopping several months before moving. We purchased the table and it was supposed to come in about the time we needed it. Several weeks later we get a call saying it had come in early, but they had said all along that it was no problem to hold the table until we moved. Several weeks after that we get a call that says they sold our table to someone else and it would be another 2 months after the original estimated date. Really? They just go and sell other people's furniture that has already been purchased. We talked to so many customer service people and none of them were very helpful. We finally talked to the store manager and said they could give us a floor model as a loaner until our new one comes in, but they didn't even offer to deliver it or deliver the new one. Their customer service was terrible through the whole experience and that is just the worst business practice to go and sell furniture that has already been sold. It's really terrible as a business to go and do stuff like that when we have a whole house to furnish. Never ever will I purchase anything from this store.
