On Wednesday November 30th we discovered that water was backing up in our laundry room through the washing machine exit pipe and also coming up our utility sink. We immediately rolled up our pants, got the wet-vac out and started panicking. Not so much over the water back-up, but we knew this would cost us. With times being tight (and I will not go into our sad stories), my loving husband tried his best to fix the problem. Well, to make a long story short he couldn't. Great mason, lousy plumber lol. Next day I went into action to find someone to fix it. I have to admit because funds are low I attempted to find a cheap way out. After reading reviews online on these places I got very nervous. Having remembered my mothers recent call to Roto-Rooter I figured lets go there. Well, I had forgotten I had indeed used them back in 1997. Ruby, the nice lady who answered the call immediately reminded me of the occasion, told me she had all my information and that a qualified ""plumber"" would be here within 2 hours. Five minutes later a nice gentleman called me from their office to tell me that Alfred was on his way and would be here within 30 to 45 minutes. He indeed showed up within the hour and went to work. All I can say is that I was extremely satisfied with not only his knowledge and how he resolved our issue (blockage in the main house pipe), but his professional conduct and most pleasant personality was most appreciated. To think I almost called some fly-by-night company to save money. Listen, all I can say is YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR and I am also a firm contributor to KIOLI ( Keep it on ""Long Island"" ) Much thanks again to Alfred and here's hoping I do not need the INCLUDED 6 MONTHS GAURANTEE!! :)
