I am 59 years old and wore glasses since I was five. It seemed like I had to get a new glasses every two to three years. In 2008, I met Dr.Emil Fadel and explained to him that my progressive lenses were giving me headaches. After a complete examination, Dr. Fadel asked if I was open to Lasik surgery. He was very concerned about my eye sight to mention this. My glasses have always been very thick and heavy on my nose. Because of an eye infection back in the 70's, I have been unable to wear contacts. His examination was so good, that the Lasik's surgeon said that I will have perfect eye sight when my surgery is done. It was PERFECT! I not only can see long distant, but I am also able to do intricate work without any visual aids like a magnifying glass or glasses. Dr. Fadel was not only there for my surgery, he continues to monitor my eye sight about every three months since. His personal concern for my eye sight at my age tells me that he cares about every patient he examines. His constant contact shows that he has sincere sincerity I would recommend him to anyone that needs an eye exam in austin. My perfect eye sight is accredited to his skills. I live in the Rio Grande Valley. He calls and personally calls me about my sight. I would travel to Austin to see him at the Arboretum eye professionals. I recommand this austin eye doctor to all.
