Review content:
I brought my new puppy here for a check up and was told she was fine. A couple days later, she was throwing up and it turned out she had parvo. The doctor told us nothing about the treatment except that they needed to keep her for about 3 days and that we should call later in the evening to check on her. She did not counsel us regarding anything, especially the cost. In fact, she said nothing about the cost. Instead, she took the dog to the back and told us to pay at the front desk. It was $1200 and could have been more if my dog had ended up staying longer than the estimated 3 days). Obviously, we were willing to pay and did pay, but I can't believe that the vet would hand me a bill like that without even discussing it. My dog did survive, so they did something right. Howevever, overall I was really bothered by my experiences there. Needless to say, I found a new vet! Oh yeah, I was even charged another exam fee for the parvo diagnosis even though I had already paid an exam fee 2 days earlier when I was told my dog was healthy.
