I highly recommend Garden Acupuncture in Park Slope. I came to Garden Acupuncture for 2 reasons. One was location, I wanted to be in Brooklyn. Second I was looking for an acupuncturist that had training in Master Tung's Acupuncture Methods.\r \r Lisa and Alex are a wonderful team. Both are trained in traditional acupuncture; Lisa also has been trained in Master Tung's methods and Alex has the herbal knowledge to compliment my acupuncture treatment. They treat the whole person. Master Tung's acupuncture method has helped with my arthritis pain. On a scale of 1 to 10 for pain, I came in with a 10 and now with approximately 3 months of treatment I have a range of 5-7. Lisa suggested that I change some of my eating habits to help with the arthritis pain, no dairy and no alcohol. I made those changes and found that it helped. I have added treatment for weight loss to my weekly regiment to also help with the arthritis pain in my hips.\r \r I love that they ask a lot of questions concerning how I'm feeling and really listen to my feedback so I get the most out of my session. Lisa and Alex compliment one another with their caring approach to my good health needs.
