Review content:
I'm in my early 40's and have been going here since my early childhood. The atmosphere is nearly the same since I can remember and the food is too. Stable and good, but never has evovled. It would be nice to see changes to their family meal options. Nothing stands out as being extraordinary, however, not bad! I can expect to pay $80 - $100 for my family of 4. \r \r I feel the need to review this based upon my last experience dining there. I decided to do something different for Christmas Eve and so we dined here. There were 8 of us and they put two tables together and shoved us in a tiny little space. I'm guessing that the table area was about 8' x 3'. We are normal sized people and included were two petite teenage girls. There wasn't elbow room to move, to use the restroom it was easier for the girls to crawl under the table. We were busing our own table, because the food and drinks didn't fit. I saved a few glasses of water from being knocked over. A waitress spilled my mom's glass of tea all over her and she did apologize. My mom just finished chemo and had radiation the day before. She was soaking wet and was given a few napkins. We offered to go to her house and get her another set of clothes to wear, but she said she would be fine. She was shivering. Finally someone brought her a warm hand towel. I have to say that although she was treated hospitable and respectful, it was rather a slap in the face to be told at the end of $300 meal that they comp'ed her the tea. \r \r On a good note or maybe different note, we just ordered food to go tonight (family style). One thing they might not tell you, but you do pay for, is the soup. It took me 2 times before I called them and asked why we didn't get our soup and that's when we were told you have to bring your own container. Not nice. Paying for something you didn't receive.
