The ripoff stories are true. Fitness Connection in Pasadena cut me off for nonpayment during my free trial. I paid the $85 startup fee but refused to give them free access to my checking account. \r

They refuse to accept cash, so suggested I put the monthly billing on a VISA gift card. During the third week of my free trial, they cut off my membership after they attempted to bill the gift card several days early (nothing is due until November 1). \r

I went in to ask them about it, and they said their policy forbids taking gift cards. I'm not allowed to work out. I called a manager, who will not call me back. I also complained about it on their Facebook page. They erased it and blocked me. If anyone brings a class-action lawsuit against this company, I'm in.
