Review content:
My daughter who is college student in Bowling Green went to Greenwood Urgent Care and was refused service because she did not have her actual insurance card with her. Our insurance is new and the cards have not been mailed out yet. We contacted out insurance provider who spoke with the office staff and confirmed all of my daughters insurance coverage. That was still not good enough for them as they claimed to have an office policy that states all patients must have an insurance card with them at the time of service. Not only did they turn away a sick child but the staff was rude and uncompassionate. I cannot believe a health care facility would be so uncaring and turn away a young person who was obviously sick and need to see a doctor. I did call the office manager after my daughter left and she did apologize to us for the way my daughter was treated. Bottom line is this never should have happened. Greenwood Urgent Care is NOT a place I would recommend anyone send their family or friends to.
