This was an out of the blue move. You know one of those that you say you will never go through. I had to move for school. I decided last minute that I was going to the University of Chicago instead of staying here in Washington. Yes, the best decision I've made so far in my life. Thanks to my mom and dad who paid for my moving expenses and the help of Nationwide Relocation Services I am already settled in my dorm.
I found them through a movingcost blog about how to relocate to your dorm room. They have pretty nice info there, specially when you have no clue where to start.
My mom wanted me to tlk to them to explain everything I had and how I wanted it done. We did a three way call and got our estimate. I didnt want movers packing my stuff so I did that part. I guess we saved some money there and our quote went down a bit. I didnt have much stuff other than clothing and clothes and clothe...and shoes and several movies and books. The total came up to less than two thousand dollars which is what my mom wanted. I guess that now that when I have to move out of the dorm into a storage and then back for the next semester I will def call them again.
