Review content:
We went to Mangia for our anniversary and while we were anticipating a delightful evening, we were sorely disappointed. The waitress was not knowledgable about the dishes and unable to make recommendations. It seemed she was inexperienced in opening wine bottles, as she destroyed the cork in the process. Regardless of the fact that we informed the waitress that we were both vegetarian prior to ordering and even after we confirmed ordering the vegetarian toasted raviolis, she carelessly brought us beef ravioli. Of course, after biting into one and swallowing I realized the significant error and became sick to my stomach. Nothing was done to ammend the situation so we departed immediately and will NEVER return. Our anniversary dinner was ruined and the mood of the evening unsalvagable.
Pros: vegetarian toasted raviolis if you can actually get them, near other restaurants so you can escape
Cons: smoky environment, careless and inexperienced staff, NOT vegetarian friendly/trustworthy
