Review content:
The Professional Actor's Studio has been around a long time in Atlanta. There are adult classes for beginners, intermediate and advanced and a teen workshop and an improv class. You can audit a class to see if it's for you. Classes run $99/month which is competitive compared to anywhere else in the city. You work EVERY class. Not all studios are like that. You are taught by industry veterans. Not all studios are like that. \r
\r
Nick Conti is the owner and a 30 year veteran of the industry. He's a passionate, fiery, emotional guy, and can come off a little brash to an auditor or a new student, but what it really is, is a display of heart, caring, and passion for his students. No one could ever question Nick's caring and heart for his students. \r
\r
I started with Nick in 2000, in the beginner class, and was there until 2003 in the advanced class before moving to Los Angeles. I have returned to Atlanta and for full disclosure purposes, teaching beginning actors at the studio and proud of it. I hope I bring the same level of passion and commitment to my classes that Nick and all of the other teachers bring to theirs. \r
\r
I also find the studio to be a professional environment, with a focus on making you a better actor, but more importantly, a performer who auditions better, and understands the nuances of the ever changing business, whether that's doing on-camera auditions, understanding the intricacy of a cold reading audition, or working on prepared scene work. \r
\r
Try it for yourself. You'll find passionate staff, engaged students, and industry accolades from the last 15 years.
