I love this place! I always thought I had bad hair, but for the last years that I started going there, I have discovered that with the right hair cut and color, anyone could look like a movie star, and that's what I get at Oscar Da Silva Beauty Salon.\r
I drive from Long Island to go there, and I've met people from New Jersey, who also choose to drive there to get the results they want. The owners and some of the crew attend to the various events sponsored by the best hair and make up companies, not only in NY, Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, but internationally also, so it's no wonder that they are always up to date with all the newest styles and techniques! \r
Their products are of the most researched and professional quality, and they are not pushed on to you, there is no pressure to buy anything. Ever! They also have special promotions and give us free samples.\r
And, the patrons are great to know, from a big variety of different nationalities and walks of life. I always find someone interesting to talk to, and I have made many friends also. But, of course, the best part of the Oscar Da Silva Hair Salon experience, is knowing that when I walk out of there, I look and feel good, and quite often I get stopped by total strangers who either compliment my hair, or simply come out and ask me for the name and number of my colorist, and or stylist! It truly is a wonderfull experience everytime I go, and I hope that they'll prosper and grow, since their service is much needed in this field. My scare of having a hair cut or a change in color is totally gone, thanks to their magic hands!\r
I highly recommend them and totally trust them!
Pros: Great decor and atmosphere
Cons: None that I could think of, except maybe to feed the meter!
