Don't expect a Hampton Inn. Do expect to look out your window in the morning and see a doe and her babies, a rabbit, stellar jays roaming the property. Do take time to enjoy June Lake right on the property. Use this very, very rustic basic lodging for a base to visit an incredible area. We had a kitchen so saved lots of money eating in. The owners are wonderful. The night before our group of 13 was to arrive for a 6 night stay in Yosemites Curry Village we learned of 2 deaths from possible Hantavirus. We called Nancy at Boulder Lodge after 8pm and she worked with us to arrange lodging at a price less than we paid at Curry Village. At Curry Village we had to walk to bathrooms and line up for showers and of course no kitchens. Compared to those accommodations we felt we were in plush accommodations.
