Review content:
The words ""classy"" and ""sports bar"" rarely go together, but somehow at JT Schmid's it does. Conveniently located near Angels Stadium, the Grove at Anaheim and Arrowhead Pond, JT Schmid's is of course, busy and buzzin' on game day. Dark wood and comfy booths on the inside, a breezy patio on the outside offers many options for seating. A great selection of in-house brewed beers, tasty appetizers, big ole' burgers (a buffalo burger is available for you urban cowboys) and nice messy ribs too. And sure, this is the O.C. so there's edamame and some semi-sophisticated salads too. There's a decent kids' menu too that pleased the 5-year olds in our party. A pleasant surprise after a long hot day at Disneyland.
Pros: Pretty good food, appetizers and beer. Nice yet casual ambiance. Close to stadiums
Cons: Can be busy on game days. Parking can be difficult, tho there is a large dirt lot in back
